A typical O.E.M.
application for our FLEXcnc-II controller is it's use to control this
Production Milling & Boring machine.
The primary use of
the machine is to perform Boring & milling procedures on the various
configurations of engine blocks. The machines are used by both
production-engine-rebuild shops as well as those shops providing specialty
engine work.
The machine is
especially useful where a variety of work is required because the specific
purpose screens allow non-CNC trained operators to perform all, regular,
engine-block work without the need to write CNC programs & the
availability of full CNC functionality in the controller background allows
appropriate operators to perform the more unusual work.
This is only the
latest of many machines that our OEM customer produces for this industry
& for which we have produced advanced servo-based control systems.
